Dear DeviantArt,

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 9, 2009, 3:38 AM

You have been blocked from our office. I don't really understand why they blocked you rather than blocking FB. You have been one of my major influences and inspiration in art while the former is just a distraction.

I will be missing you every time I go to work. I hope you will miss me too even though I have done rather less updates lately.

I will still continue to support you though, as I am doing right now, writing to you from home. I hope I may still be inspired to continue my art, even though I may only visit you in a lesser frequency.

Writing from Home and Yours truly,

JPBB

PS. What can I do against this mind block?

#19: What Am I?

Judging from the contents of my gallery, what type of artist (cartoonist, conceptual artist, etc) do you think am I?

#18: Resurrection (Forum Update)

I'm planning, aside from my major priorities, on bringing back SSS. Not only that, if you've seen the web layout I made [link] , I'm planning on making an independent site/pages for that. But the thing is, I can't do this all by myself. I know that most of us are not active anymore, but I'm still hoping to receive help from you, comrades.

Plans for the so-called site:
:bulletred: INTRO PAGE: I would need the redesigns of the faction emblems. I already redesigned the SSS emblem [link] . Although the Nontensity and Deleter faction emblems still look good, if you have a better design, it would be great.
:bulletred: UPDATES, STORY, FACTION: I'm planning that these pages be separate blogs instead of independent pages so that updating would be easier. In relation to this, I would need people who would help update the blogs if necessary. I would need volunteers at least 1 for each blogs. I have already created a master account for the collective that we would only need individual accounts for those volunteers.
:bulletred: FORUM: This would be a greater challenge but a very efficient tool. I would need someone to make a forums, complete with rules/regulations/faqs/etc in coordination with the main idea, and other volunteers to become admins/mods for the forum. This forum will then allow users to post/suggest stories before it becomes published onto the blog; post artworks; recruit new members; discuss topics; etc.

Other Need/s:
:bulletred: One major concern is the story. The only person who knows the major storyline of SSS is ~Xenogin and he's a very busy guy. Sometimes, somehow, I want to extract everything from his brain so that I can not rely on him all the time.

So, anybody who's interested to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Just send me a note or a message here about which of the above thing/s you think you can help with. Another hand with the layouts and css (for the blogs) will be greatly appreciated.

SSS is one thing I can't forget about; it always had me motivated on doing something for one reason, that I can't just let it die or be forgotten.

UPDATES:

FORUMS: I already registered a forum for SSS, but I'm still finalizing the categories/contents/subforums before actually opening it to the public.

The general categories are the ff:
:bulletred: Command Post - about the forums and rules and regulations
:bulletred: Intel Information - news and updates
:bulletred: The Crimson Army - getting to know the members; detailed character profiles probably as well, though I'm thinking whether or not if I should create specific categories/subcategories for the different factions under this.
:bulletred: Astralis - history and timeline; maps and illustrations
:bulletred: Malgus' Library - remember Malgus? He's the Librarian in Deb's story. This would be where all stories-in-writing be in. As soon as the story is finalized, the plan is that the story will be moved to the front page/blog wherein it will be visible to public and it will become subpart of the major story.

I'm also thinking of putting a forum wherein we can hold contests and feature artworks though I'm still not sure where to put it.

In any case you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to post them.

Also, if you want to directly help "inside" the forum, you can send me a note as to what username and password you would like to use so you can access the forum as an admin/mod.

I'm hoping this would push through.

It is. It's up and running. Go check it out, my site that is.

For best viewing, I recommend you use Firefox. Or Chrome. You can use IE too, except for low versions, the css gets messed up. I don't know about Safari though. And my site uses Javascripts, so it's best you allow javascripts on the site.

Oh, and I must warn you, the gallery page will probably take a while to load especially if your connection is slow. Until the whole page (and hidden images) load, please wait before you click the thumbnails.

You can also fully enjoy the site if it's on full screen (F11). My page adjusts it's height though so it's not required that you use full screen. However, you should have at least a minimum of 768px height.
